>>713941384I think that while the auto-lock is kind of iffy in action games that Assault Spy used it to good effect so I'd imagine on higher difficulties it would work in Mightreya as well.
But the arenas are too large and the auto-lock is too close-range, I feel like it's shorter than it was in Assault Spy and in Assault Spy there were smaller arenas and you didn't have to navigate the 3D plane nearly as much.
Don't know how much more dev time Wazen has in mind but I do feel like the main issues that the demo had can be ironed out, and a lot of them (the moveset) are going to be cleared out in the final release.
The difficulty I don't think will be an issue, Assault Spy didn't really get hard until you got to Extreme Mode but once you did it was pretty brutal.
>>713944187I think the main issue is that the moveset feels like it has some wasted space. There are four separate buttons strictly for mobility options, and the dive is kinda useless and doesn't even do anything while you're on the ground. The homing jump is a bit redundant when the attack button homes in already. The secondary attack button is just a meter-based super punch. It feels like the control space isn't really being used efficiently.
