Nintendo always spaces out their games by 1-2 months, even at the start of a console. It's like the Disney Vault; if there's only one new Nintendo game you get the one that's available. If there are multiple at once, you may only buy one.

This is a big reason why I haven't bought a Switch 2 yet. Not many games, MKW is mid. I'd use it as an emulator if Nintendo didn't force those big grey borders you have to turn off or the fact that I can just get well-made widescreen mods for most of said games on PC since years ago anyway. I'll buy it for Smash Bros in the future. If the rumor of Sakurai working on Airriders first and making a deal to do so first because he's burnt out on Smash then it'll be a long while too.
