Is there a lot of competition? Most are ongoing series or, if they do come back, they're reboots. JA3 and BG3 are basically the only ones I can think of, unless you count Fallout 3 but that'd be ignoring Tactics and BoS.

Shenmue 2 technically came out in 2001 but it did take them 20 fucking years to make 3 which was OK at its best. Duke Nukem had games up til 2002 so I don't think it counts. I guess Planetary Annihilation if you consider it part of the same series as Total Annihilation.

Man, makes me want to start up another campaign, tha battle where you save biff I had grizzly with a saw and a thousand rounds of .556. I had him set up in an ideal spot because he mowed down nearly all those fuckers. Luckily the motors never landed near him.
