I think the remake added time trials to all the games.

Crash 2 is the better title of the original 3 games. Warped can't even hold a candle to 2 just because of the vehicle levels alone. But at its core Crash Bandicoot isn't some marvel gaming experience however it was just the title everybody knows and associates with early day playstation just like zoom zooms associate Mario 64 and OOT to the N64. The bosses were tailored for literal children in these games and we have presumably teens and grown men bitching about it years later.
