I'd have been willing to buy this maybe if it weren't for this line here.
The Mario/DK timeline is a mess and Nintendo barely acknowledges how inconsistant it is between various games so why would they start now? And that answer isn't satisfying at all.

I also don't buy that Void Kong's wish would be the erasure of all other Kongs. We know nothing about the guy, but he seems more bent on money and profit with all the gold accessories and luxurious fur clothes. He probably wants to just wish for all the Banadium/Bananas in the world so he can be the richest Kong in the world. Makes more sense.
