This is something being sold at a game convention happening this weekend.
Is there a point where games are unsalvagable and should just be thrown away?
>>713946687 (OP)That's an easy fix. Take the shell off and buy a third party transparent blue shell plus Sapphire version sticker and you'll be good to go. Not worth throwing away a precious game board over.
>>713947258You're going to ruin the patina if you do that
>>713947258If I was a desperate kid in a situation like this back then, I'd unironically buy the cheapest game possible and swap the cartridge shell. Would've been a fun task as a youngster.
>>713947258Call me weird if you'd like, but I'd rather just download a rom at that point.
>>713947627Nowadays literally anyone with a brain would lol. Majority would then just play on their phone/pc vs original hardware. Even chink handhelds are out there in various flavorful designs, enough to really satiate most tastes imo.
>>713946687 (OP)That thing probably still costs over $100
I went two a flea market and bought two copies of Ruby for 20 dollars in total. One was fake but one was real, so that was cool. I just though i'd share.
>>713947258my majora's mask cartridge is all fucked up, where can I get a replacement shell, ideally grey and with the stickers?
>>713946687 (OP)I was just there. I saw the cartridge too kek. Another booth wanted $240 for a cartridge of pokémon emerald.
