There is a BIG difference between wii sports and welcome tour though. The wii needed a game bundled in to sell people on the motion controls. Everyone knows what the switch 2 is, so something like that sin't really necessary. Now, I'm not saying that shit is worth even 10 dollars, but I genuinely do not believe that making welcome tour free would have shipped ANY more units.

Reggie seemed like a genuine leader. I haven't heard of a single notable thing Bowser has done in 6 years, which may mean nothing, but also means there's no evidence against NoA returning to being a spineless subsidiary of a lumbering Japanese company.
