I wanted to play all the games that had the collab with MGQ Paradox before Part 3 but even after months I barely touched those.
Lately it feels like I barely progress anywhere and the list I plan to play in the future only grows

I manage my backlog by adding more and more shit to it, ensuring that any silly hope of clearing it never raise, thus allowing me to play whatever I want when I want instead of forcing myself to speedrun shit to "manage the backlog".
No stress anymore: mission failed, fun achieved.

I eventually stopped buying games I wanted on sale unless I wanted to install and play them right that moment. Even if I buy more shit at full price I spend way less money.

i got covid this week, i've cleared about 12 of the backlogged games i felt were good for a fever addled mind.
i also got another 15 levels into baba is you, which is infuriating because i spent a few hours on that damn level while fully cognisant.
waiting for the fever to break so i can figure out microtopia.

I miss the pandemic. Sure, covid nearly killed my uncle so for me it was a very real threat but I feel the most progression I had in tons of games I loved like Black Souls were due to it.
Now I feel I can’t make much progress even in my free time. Games like Elden Ring feel like too much of a time sink
