Dark Forces came out in 1995, and people loved that one, 1994 and 1993 respectrively had Star Wars TIE Fighter and X-Wing, Star Wars had popular games on the SNES, basically at this time, if any game had Star Wars written on it, you had a pretty decent chance of getting a great fucking game, many of which hold up to this day.
Notable exception was Star Wars Chess, which was seen as a shittier "Battle Chess". Oh and I personally don't like Rebel Assault II, because it's a clunky ass rail shooter. But the game was still a success I believe.
