I played Wilds with my friend who plays mainly on steam deck, and they borderline can not play it. From crashing (even to the latest updates which supposedly fixed it) to having to play on the lowest settings possible, it's not a good time. But lets put that aside and focus on the content of the game. The monster list in wilds is noticeably small and repetitive, and the power you have this generation is far and above the strongest hunters have ever been. I don't see how capcom can ever balance wilds, the fact that focus attacks can reposition whiffed combos and the wounds system giving repeat staggers makes this games combat incredibly fast for times to kill. Plus, we have the seikrits which can be called as you land out of a hit to cancel being staggered in case you messed up your positioning and avoid being punished as you run out of the area at mach 5 drinking pots before coming back in with a jumping attack and mounting the monster.
