What went horribly wrong?

/v/ is full of poorfags so if it's not on PC and you can't pirate it, it might as well not exist here.

The first was divisive and no one really knew what to expect. Now players do so only fans of DS1 are interested in 2 and talk about it. I've also seen some people say its too easy, regressive of what 1 started etc.

Also Snoy-exclusivity almost killed DS1, so obviously true fans wait for the superior PC release.
