>trackpads and steam input allow keyboard PC games to be played with a controller
>instant wake and sleep allows for gaming to stop and continue at the drop of a hat (very useful when working)
>perfect balance between power and battery life
>it's better than a laptop
>it's a PC
>>714034161still better than the shitch
It's almost perfect, but
>Xbox-style bumpers wear out because the design is FUNDAMENTALLY GARBAGE and yet Valve used it anyway
>D-pad and ABXY buttons are way the fuck off in the corners and uncomfortable to use, because touchpads (though pretty cool) take up way too much high-value real estate in terms of where thumbs can actually reach without developing giga arthritis after 20 minutes of play, so fuck you if you're not playing a first-person shooter or some other genre that primarily uses sticks and/or touchpads
In order to play new games they need to release deck 2 that will support dlss, that's one thing switch 2 has over deck hardware wise. Then again if they do it, there's no way to go around the short battery life span.
>>714031571 (OP)I don't like that the ergonomics prevent you from having both your middle fingers on the triggers and index fingers on the bumpers, it's really subpar for driving games in particular
>>714031571 (OP)The trackpads suck, theyโre useless outside of Desktop Mode.
>>714031571 (OP)I just setup sunshine/moonlight today and it feels pretty good. Can someone explain what the difference is with Artemis?
>>714031571 (OP)>No battery life>Weak soc >HeavyThese handhelds still don't make much sense
>>714031571 (OP)>Miracle of engineeringEh, i like my deck but its far from a miracle. Maybe if it was half the size you could truly call it a miracle.
OMFG someone actually bumped this one?!
>>714034161Correct.
>>714036505Deck 2 will have an FSR based on FSR 4.
