MS was about a decade ahead of themselves here. Combine that with all the other mistakes they made at the exact same time (high price, weaker GPU, mandatory Kinect, giving up making normal games for Kinect gimmicks) and you've got a death spiral they never pulled out of.

All the suits looked at the metrics and saw that most Xbox users used it to watch Netflix and Youtube all day, but they forgot to remember that the reason people did that was because they had a 360 for games hooked up already.

Nobody is buying a game console to watch Netflix...

It IS funny thinking about how this dumbass and this one line destroyed XBOX irreparably and established Sony as the dominant brand despite them making no games and having no ideas.

He was unintentionally playing the long game short, he helped Microsoft kill off the xbox brand faster so they could stop pretending they care about putting out good products and instead move their strategy towards monopolistically buying up a bunch of IP's to never use so no one else can and sell third parties with a subscription service.

That sounds way too generous. Microsoft walked right into traffic and that doesn't get better just because their traffic light would have turned green 60 seconds afterwards.

Because he's a deviant, and thought suggesting that you actually fuck your xbox one would be a well-received message.
A little bit of medical research would've revealed that the majority of males don't have dicks as small as his, and it wasn't feasible, but that's why they call him the Gaffer.

This is why the Xbox died when this failed. The Xbox currently, is being used for Microsoft's PC ventures because they no longer know what to do with it. This how things will go, when this new Xbox is everything initiative fails, we will see somewhat a return to form in a new way as a publisher. Remember, Microsoft's studios that made games were originally called Microsoft Game Studios, this changed to Microsoft Studios during the TV era, then Xbox Game Studios during the Game Pass era, I'm expecting that the name will go back to Microsoft Game Studios finally retiring the Xbox name. I mean is there really any point to keeping the Xbox name going forward when it's literally just Windows?

Never forget when asked how will soldiers play the latest xbox off-line he said we have the 360 for that.
Xbox not only lost the Japanese card but the red blooded American and anyone else patriotic as well. Imagine a console filled with military shooters fps and you tell everyone to go fuck themselves. Xbox was ahead of its time alright soulless just like what Blizzard Activision became.

It ain't PC, nor is it Nintendo, the problem is Sony and Microsoft, they became to corporate and their global communism and anti-competition stagnated the entire market. Nintendo and Valve are saving this shit show.
