The Wii was absolute garbage
This system represented the death of Nintendo. This was the point when they stopped being a serious video games company, and instead became an Apple-style toy company peddling casualized tech towards soccer moms, grandmas, and toddlers.

Everything you said is completely true, however I still liked the Wii as a kid and I thought it was fun.
And I still remember when it was still a brand new console, it was extremely hype in my area and everybody wanted one.
Honestly it had Switch 1 level hype when it was announced without any people shitting on it like they did for switch 1. That's how I remember it at least and yes I was there.
