tha AI sloppa isn't the problem.
The game is literally unplayable tier buggy past act 1.
multi second freezes, suttering consntantly. Until they fix that shit the game unplayable.
They are reallly fucking sloppy on Quality control.
>yathzee gushing
yeah because the is probably still stuck in tutorial and ever saw the game meltdown in act 2 and beyond like all reviewers.

Some of the translation from polish to everything else was supposedly done by AI at least partially, but that is speculation.
whats more scary is this >>714070892
the game feels like it was just barely slapped together on a shoestring budget by some saars in a shed.

legit the game feels like it was thrown together in 3-6 months.

nah game ran fine until act 2.
Then some runaway bug happens and the game starts shitting itself.
With saves taking longer, stutters, freezes and even crashes. By act 3 a save that took 4 seconds would take like 30 seconds and shit would sutter in a slide show.
It was very reproducible and nothing to do with video settings or hardware.

But what I'm talking about is a systemic meltdown. You can feel some loop going over and over and causing shit to slow down and stutter more and more.
>>714071582
>b-but it works on my PC
cool dude, I guess every single person who is having issues with the game shitting itself in act 2 and beyond just doesn't exist.
I don't care if a game can by accident sometimes be fine.
I care that majority of people have a bug free experience, me most importantly.

Also while are on the topic of critisism.
The balance in this game is all over the place.
I am surprised that coming from a tight resource management game like frostpunk, this one seems so...unbalanced.
Also even the fucking specilization texts like miner mining 50% faster METALS, is wrong because he mines everything 50% faster.
Same for refiner. Yet they can't even get the description right.
I honestly feels very rushed.

The concept of the game is neat, but god it feels rough.
From technical issues, to gameplay balance, it just doesn't feel polished. It needs more time in the oven and fixing.
A player should not walk into the game and be like
>here is game breaking bug
>here is incorrectly described abilities
>here is complete random balance of item costs, powers, etc

The color design in this game is actually peak.

Who hears - scifi, cloning, grimdark planet that wants you dead - and chooses colorful magenta/lightblue colors?
A genius, that's who.

I genuinely think that if not for those offsetting the dark-ish themes, bright colors, the game would be simply unpleasant for what it wants to convey.

And no, it has nothing to do with tranny color design without any thought, like in Veilguard.

This is not true. Yeah, some stutters are here, unreal engine standart. But they are not that frequent.
And I didn't encounter many bugs. The ones I remember: having the same dialog with one of the alters constantly(fixed after quest completion), and visual bug when effects didn't show up(reloaded the day). Also in 30+ hours the game crashed 3 times.
Not ideal, but I would not call it unplayable.
I finished act III after they updated the game, so maybe some bugs were fixed.

yeah as I said "unplayable"
which is why I said they should fix that shit.
I'm holding off on recommending this game to friends until they fix this shit.
I expect that to be the bare minimum, surely they wont abandon the game in such a state.

I'd also like them to make the balance of abilities/research/costs/items/perks etc to be better, balanced where some shit isn't utterly useless and others aren't clearly better.
But that's a long shot of a hope and I have doubts they will.

As a rule I don't listen to /v/'s negative recommendations, only their positive ones (and even then that's usually in the context of hearing about games I wouldn't otherwise be interested in).
It's extremely easy to shit on a game you haven't played but more difficult to make up reasons why a game you haven't played is good. Usually if an anon is talking about a game they like you can tell that they're being genuine.
The ones that shit on everything want you to be not playing games or enjoying anything, they don't want you to be playing games.

I had literally 0 technical issues with the game. Not a single frame dip, freeze, hitch or crash.

It was a solid 8/10 game for me, but I wish that it was a bit longer. Once I finally felt like I had a great base layout with everything and a good workflow loop for everything, the game ended.

>but I wish that it was a bit longer. Once I finally felt like I had a great base layout with everything and a good workflow loop for everything, the game ended.
Start of Act 2 you mean.

In general, the game felt tiny. There is a bunch of fucking tech, like HUBs that have little use due to the maps not having any reason to split into 4 different directions and thus making it more efficient than just putting posts.
There wasn't maps that were big/long enough or mazed enough.
I understand opening level being small and simple.Makes sense.
But why aren't the later levels much bigger and more complex?
There just isn't any depth to getting mines set up in act 2 or 3.
