i dont really like br, or any free fps in the steam store really, but pubg is the only one i play that stratches my BR itch when I rarely have one. whats so wrong with it? i like being stealthy

The gameplay in PUBG has always been fun.
They did fuck up in the beginning by not optimizing the game and taking way too long on updates, and by now they've added way too many maps with way too many annoying mechanics, and recently added the shitty mechanics to Ranked as well.

It's fundamentally flawed by being borderline milsim autism which greatly reduces any meaningful skill progression. Winning in PUBG almost entirely based on luck.

It's a lot less RNG when you have variety of choices to make. In Apex you can win the most dreadful games just by getting creative at salvaging bad situations. It's a true sandbox shooter.

I only got into Pubg a few months ago, whenever they had their anniversary event, but i have been enjoying it.
Fun game to jump into now and then and play a few rounds.

That's wild thing to say because objectively speaking I'd argue it has some of the worst gunplay mechanics. It's slightly better than true milsims but still suffers from same issues. You aim practically doesn't matter because most of the time you'll be shooting at static targets. Recoil control is the most important aspect of your gunplay skill. At its core it isn't different from shooting targets at the gun range.

Lead dev that copied H1Z1 lost lawsuit and pushed out, probably didn't join the occult as using UE made the dev work give insight to Fortnite to steal.
