I actively dislike FPS games that don't take their setting seriously. Apex, The Finals and Valorant all host in-universe competitions rather than engaging in deadly battles. The Finals being the most offensive one of the bunch, where the competition is a literal one with E-Sports skin and all.

Is the game still forced trios? Because fuck that I'm not wasting my time getting teamed up with two fucks who run off on their own and dies. If you're up against a stacked coordinated team it's literally impossible to win, no amount of skill can compensate for the high TTK.
The game plays like it should be a 10v10 game where having fun is more important than winning, but instead it's shitty esport bait teams of 3.

The character designs looked like shit and I could tell the game was gonna have some seriously obnoxious microtransactions / comestics.

Didn't even remember this game existed until about a month and a half ago and decided to give it a try because I had the itch to play an fps game since I stopped playing CS and TF2. Also I was limited in what I can play since I play on linux. Turns out this game is actually really fun and I'm finding myself watching videos on it before going to bed. Also game has a great soundtrack.

You can have 2 up and I personally always liked them so I place them on the one zip I might leave up as bait, or right behind a doorway near cashout w/e to soften people on their immediate approach. I'm usually pretty proactive and I try to use them to catch people with their pants down. Sometimes I just throw it at the box or middle of a big fight like a silly pancake.

Otherwise, zip and the holy frag grenade. I am a simple person and I would like to expediently kill bad team. I avoid jump pad because it's not useful for actual traversal and in a fight it sends you up in a very predictable arc.

I think the "normal" premium skins are better than the 30 dollar "ULTIMATE" skins. Preference, but holy shit, 30 bucks for a recolor of skins you can get (mostly) free. If they bundled the Supporter Pack and maybe a special item only for Ultimate pack owners, I'd see some value but as it stands, hell no. I've been coasting those 10 dollars I spent back in S1 and I do no intend to spend a cent more.

Not interesting outside of the performance and destruction. Overwatch and Apex have better aiming and more interesting guns. Seige/CS have more strategy/set play. The movement is not very good either. I would rather play one of several games with defrag maps, Tribes, or mess around with Lucio.
