Should I get the World Machine edition? I already completed Solstice back when it came out, but sometimes I get the urge to jump back into OneShot's little world
>>714081474 Cute little adventure with cat with some meta stuff, won't spoil it. I enjoyed it, though if you don't get attached to Niko you'll probably get bored
>>714081040 (OP) It's basically a version intended for consoles because the original puzzles would not have worked with them, so a downgrade of what I liked most about the game. The extra bits are neat but hardly important.
>>714081040 (OP) Only if you want a box with Niko on the front. PC version is the best version by a lot. You could look into some of the OneShot mods, but imo they're terribly documented and not substantial
What do you all think happened to Niko after the Save the World ending? I like to imagine he has to start a new life in the simulated world, maybe living/working at the cafe, or tagging along with the lamplighter.

>>714086350 honestly, having played this game and mildly enjoyed it, is there even an active fanbase? even accounting for the meta stuff, there's really not that much content
>>714087154 huh, as soon as i hit post i actually remembered that someone made a fan animation with a bunch of indie characters, including Niko. Indie Cross, if anyone cares
>>714087154 The fanbase is relatively active because many players became incredibly attached to Niko and the game's world, and they need an outlet for their emotions, but since the game concludes so quickly, they have to direct their emotions elsewhere. That's the vacuum for a "fandom" to fill, with fangames, fanart, fanfiction, etc etc.
>>714081040 (OP) Only buy this if you're into RPG Maker tearjerkers like To the Moon, Rakuen, Tales of the Black Forest etc. Personally I thought it was too bland and predictable, I beat it but didn't really care for it. It's probably much more enjoyable if you're a teenager and/or furry. IMO Rakuen was WAY better.

>>714088165 It was cringekino, kid-me would have basedfaced
>>714092563 Same, honestly. It hit that perfect middle ground between "what the hell am I watching" and "I canโt look away." Cringe-kino is like comfort food if you grew up online. Wouldโve looped it 50 times in 2013 with tears in my eyes.
>>714081040 (OP) I liked the game but I wouldnt pay money for it idk its like 2 hours long and theres nothign to do besides linearly following the story and some few side things
>>714087835 wait really? eliza did that? yikes. what did moving to cali & working at Google do to you, ex coworker-sama.. that's so messed up, and totally not a coding practice we followed back then

>>714081474 If you liked Off and/or Yume Nikki you would probably like this. If you have ever used "walking simulator" as an insult you will probably not like this
