Excellent music and art, the best bosses of any classic Castlevania, level design that still has plenty of memorable encounters even if there's less of an overall focus on platforming than the NES games and Bloodlines. There are things I like better about some of the other games but it's the most complete package overall

I'm guessing Curse of Darkness is the most okayish one but it's still pretty boring. I never touched the God of War clones.

Rondo's artstyle is appealing but it's gameplay feels like a step back. When it comes to simple games like CV, variety is king and Rondo does not provide much variety or challenge, it's all visual. CV4 and Bloodlines feel like they were trying more to make interesting levels that offered new challenges. Rondo is just normal CV but you can back flip and there is more "exploration" which muddle the tighter level design CV typically has
