randomness is more fun in singleplayer games because you get to experience more shit in game whereas less randomness is fun in multiplayer games where you play against others because then it doesn't feel like you get to test your skills and your victory or loss hinge entirely on RNG and it gets old fastit doesn't matter if what lore says about whether Kjahit have human or cat dicks because if they can only breed with other kajhit then their vaginas are presumably fit for it and if they can breed with humans we would've already seen evidence of that in writing and they'd presumably just have normal human cocks so idk why you need that explicitly stated for you

I consistently win in my friendgroup, if it was truly pure randomness and no skill this would not be the case, I get unlucky enough to lose to item spam at the end of a race about 1 out of 5 matches.

If you're out in front you just cycle items in order to get shells and boomboxes, this will protect you from the much harder to dodge red shells and greens, as for blue shells, you just have to tank it most of the time, but it's not too difficult to get out infront of the NPC pack so that you CAN tank a blue shell
That being said if you can smuggle some shrooms up into first, then you can even dodge blue shells (or use those lucky boomboxes)

Input randomness is fun. It's when you get random items and you have to use them strategically. Output randomness it's gay - you have the item in your hand and then the dice decides whether it does anything useful.
