>>714101648 (OP)woah you actually get cars in this one and not have to keep stealing mule ones?
>>714101648 (OP)where is this hate campaign coming from? The game is 5 years old at this point. Everybody already knows what the gameplay is like and If you liked it then DS2 is just more.
>>714101774that's from the first game. You could always make cars and bikes.
don't mind me just testing something
>>714101774>have to keep stealing mule ones?so you didnt actually play the first game then, huh.
>gamers when they have to deliver packages in the package delivery video game:
>>714101845>where is this hate campaign coming from?>its currently a ps5 exclusive gamegee, i wonder why theres hate for this game...
>>714101774to answer your question yes, cars are much more easily accessible and usable in this one
>>714101948His work as Mussolini was great
>>714101774That clip is from death stranding 1
>>714101648 (OP)>In this game you get to play as a deliveryman>*buys game*>"WTF WHY AM I PLAYING AS A DELIVERYMAN">>714101774This is DS1 and there always were Bridges trucks, not the shitty MULE ones
AAAAAAAAAAAA SAVE ME DIEHARDNIGGERMAN AAAAAAAAA
>>714101932I literally was stuck with bikes until I beat the game because I didn't do one side delivery in the second map.
>>714103306So when the game told you that if you level up your rep with people then you'll gain access to new stuff you thought it was just bluffing or what?
>>714102801Is the gravity lower in Australia or are the physics just bad
>>714103870No I just didn't do enough side content. For trucks in particular you need to do a specific job. I did quite a bit for that guy and the girl, sat through the cringe cutscenes and everything, just didn't do the one to get trucks.
>>714104371Oh so the physics are just bad then
>>714104807Physics have kinda broken down after the apocalypse.
>>714104807Yeah the physics are just bad but I was also "jumping" a lot to get a little extra clearance
>>714104807>muh realism!yeah, fuck off. this is a video game. i can make my cars jump over rocks because its fun.
take your dumb, grounded realism shit elsewhere.
>>714105569My favorite thing is Sam's double jump. Its not even a double jump. Its like, and Olympic long jump. Kojima just named it double jump to shitpost.
>>714105702How is it not a double jump? You gain a bit of extra height and distance by pressing jump after jumping.
>>714106115Because you have to activate it at the very start of your jump in such a way that youre not really jumping twice just changing your jump into a long jump. It wouldnt really feel any different playing if you held jump to do the get the "double jump" trajectory instead of the regular jump's one.
>>714106724It's been a while since I've played the first game, but it's a double jump in the second one. You press jump mid-air.
I'm only on chapter 5 after 30 hours because I keep distracting myself with rebuilding the roads and then going on cross-country mass deliveries with all of the other players' lost cargo
>>714101648 (OP)Lmao thank you for this webm.
Indeed Death Stranding gameplay is garbage
((whispers)) its not like the story is good either
>>714101648 (OP)What a huge waste of time and people paid $70 for this crap
>>714107164they wipe all your building progress after a short amount of time
not worth wasting time with that trash
Going from A to B in any GTA is exactly like your video though
>>714101648 (OP)Kojidrones are mentally ill. Something snapped when MGS4 and MGSV didn't deliver.
>>714111730but that doesn't count because he gets paid to shit on non-rockstar games
Mads is kinda filtering me on this trench section, but so far Im liking the game well enough. Didnt check it out for the longest time because I didnt get what game there was to play and just the idea of walking around with a baby powered suit didnt really appeal to me either. Finally decided to check it out tho, and its not bad. Ch1 is nothing but cutscenes, and a lot. 2 is chill. Kinda the tutorial island area on in the east sector. Ch3 the game starts really opening up and actually becoming fun once you get to the central sector. The gameplay loop of running up and down your delivery route grabbing a bunch of orders and lost cargo heading to destinations along your way, raiding mule camps to work on roads along the route and stuff is pretty fun.
I could see this game being a lot more fun to play offline. Its cool since building the roads would be a massive pain in the ass offline, but the 2mins you spend in each area before connecting it to the network is really the only time you actually get to use all the hiking mechanics. I might restart it and do it completely offline. All the trails have already been blazed. I know theres the big meta narrative about working together and yadda yadda, but its kinda lost when Sam's big hourny west is a 30min commute down the interstate.
