I hate to admit it, but this one would have done better as a teenage angst drama like Life is Strange. Or something with more emotional turmoil, women and numales love these and the game looks like it would be up their alley.

all they needed to do was give review copies to big youtubers, but then again that might have been a double edged sword, because the game had a lot of issues on PC at launch, and the switch version was and still is literally unplayable, so that might have drawn bad press, so they might have preferred to go under the radar to avoid scorn like mindseye and gollum, though this is still far more polished and functional than those. alternatively, they could have commissioned big furry porn artists anonymously to draw engagement or draw porn themselves and upload it anonymously . I don't get why devs seem to have such an issue optimizing for switch though, this game only looks marginally better than wind waker and runs much worse, and that came out over 20 years ago on much weaker hardware, same goes for the likes of Rime, I get it when games are graphically demanding or have lots of action but not mellow, cartoony ones.
