I only played the patched version and it was incredibly mid.

not going to even try playing this game until it's $5 or less. I'm already at my limit with tolerating slarslop, so there's no way I'm even trying this anytime soon.
I enjoyed Jedi Fallen Order and Survivor but this game, everything I've seen about it doesn't interest me in the slightest.

I played like 20 hours just of the demo which is in Tatooine and loved it. I will probably play the full game. I haven't played Jedi Survivor yet and I could be wrong, but I really enjoyed Jedi Fallen Order and it doesn't compare to Outlaws as far as getting to feel like you're living in Star Wars.

The main character didn't seem absurdly deformed or anything like some screenshots have shown but maybe there are examples in the full game I haven't seen. But seriously there were no issues from what I saw, although the open world might be too formulaic for some. Some of the complaining I saw when the game released involved not being able to kill animals but being able to pet them, or one of the giant sand worms or whatever exiting the ground with one frame of the animation being off timing. A more substantial and valid complaint was that the enemy AI is way too stupid, but from what I played, you can still easily get caught and occasionally lose a fight, but the main draw of the game is certainly not the combat.

The speeder travel is extremely satisfying and fun.

Do I see where they have clearly made characters who could have been beautiful or even sexy ugly and plain in this game? Absolutely. But it wasn't the main character, oddly enough. Like anon said, Kay is actually cute. And she is as tolerable or even likable as Cal in my opinion.

I wasn't sold on Nix at first, although I really like BD-1, and I find the constant "cmon little guy" comments got old quickly, but you do grow attached to him and watching him cling for dear life onto your speeder is highly amusing. He's a trooper and a good companion, they really pulled it off.

OP ain't that correct. It's probably the best thing Ubisoft has put out in a while, but that's not saying much. It has some interesting ideas with it's reputation system, but I barely does anything with that more systemic shit. It's also amazing how little it cares about telling it's own story well at all.
