Ubishills cannot stop this
Yes and no. Some games are basically dependent on zeitgeist. As digital entertainment, they're also dependent on the hardware platform and in some cases may not be feasible to maintain or replicate. In those cases, well, don't cry because it's over, smile because it's happened.
If no such reasons exist however I can see the argument.
only a problem for consolefags
I can download, install, and play every single game I own on steam, and if the servers are taken down I can play on private servers
you will never live this life of royalty as long as you're a consolefag
>>714110884 (OP)Only literal bootlickers, contrarians, and turd worlders would disagree. If buying games doesnt give us ownership then pirating them isnt stealing. They cant have it both ways. Im so fucking tired of the almost non existent consumer protection laws in North America; mega corps have gotten way too uppity.
Paid for a license license expired.
Brought it on yourself.
>>714111352It says you are now legally my slave. Sorry, you signed it
>>714111352That its not legally binding and any regulation at a local level can supercede it
>>714111352EULAs are not above the law. That's why we are pushing for law changes.
This is the guy who opposes this btw

>>714111352You did read the whole thing, right?
>>714110884 (OP)love it when you buy a game on steam, but it still forces you to launch games through some zimbabwe fucking 3rd party launcher. it's even better when ranjesh updates the launcher, breaking some old games in the process, and they just dont even fucking notice / care.
>>714111352its not a legally binding document
>>714114197>forces you to launch games through some zimbabwe fucking 3rd party launcherThere should be a warning for that, like there is for EULA and for Kernel level anti-cheat.
>>714110884 (OP)I have never had any of my digital games stolen from me by their respective developers or publishers. What is this crybaby shit?
>>714114689>I have never had any of my digital games stolen from me by their respective developers or publishersNot yet, and itโs within their legal right to do so whenever they please
>>714114973And it's also well within my legal right to press charges against you, yet I don't.
>>714111137>If buying games doesnt give us ownership then pirating them isnt stealingThis is such a dumb fucking argument and it's a true testament to how stupid piratefags are. People still still say you "stole" a haircut if you were to walk out without paying. Just because something is a service it doesn't mean you suddenly don't have to pay for it.
>>714113885why would you read any of that? it's not legally binding according to EU law
>>714112643oh okay so they're not doing anything illegal you're just mad because you didn't read the contract before spending money?
>>714115915>Can't read the contract before buying>Contract can be changed in any way at any time with no notificationWow very legal, we'll need the next petition for that
