Healing meta is giving me cancer ngl season 7 hasn't been fun because of healing ball. Discord is full of troons screeching that weapons that aren't assault rifles need to be nerfed regardless of how bad they are. Ranked is full of people who don't want to communicate or try the game is very much team based as well. Aim assist still stupidly strong and unfun to play crossplay because you have to change how you play entirely to counter getting beamed by console aimbot.

The game has positives but the healing meta was the straw that broke the camels back. When they make gas or something counter it I'll be back to play more.

Started playing in OB and stopped playing altogether in season 3. The meta was already getting stale with either M or H stacking with little light gameplay (Every light main I know is a faggot so I don't care much), but even then I was having fun playing with my friend and grinding rank even with a retarded random we'd queue up with every tournament. The nail in the coffin for me was when they replaced the ranked mode for season 3 with that god awful R6 mode. You know shit is bad when I unironically wish for the nuke meta again. Fuck these devs and from what I've seen in my time not playing literally nothing of value has been added to make me want to come back.

I picked it up during the tail end of season 5 and it seems good so far. Devs are ex-DICE so it makes sense they're absolute retards when it comes to weapon balance.

I find that it's not that bad if you're around cover, Out in the open, you're well and truly fucke, especially when going against mp5 tryhards that beam you across half the map.

Yea well that's my issue. Vs mouse players good movement can win in an open engagement. Vs "good" controller players they will beam up every time. Have you seen the fucking settings for controller? There's a recoil reset button and turning on recoil smoothing literally removes ALL vertical recoil. Yes I mean all of it. The guns only move horizontally when you fire.

I think this is the one I watched but a quick search shows dozens of controller player vids I'm sure you can see a more recent one. They nerfed aim assist in season1 when it was a literal aimbot but it's still pretty bad in open areas.

Yes there's multiple "pros" in NA and EU who play controller as well as dozens of rubys. It's not as bad as Apex but it'll get there at some point.
