Aoko was willing to murder an innocent boy over what amounts to an arbitrary cultural transgression with no proven greater utilitarian reason (keep in mind magecraft only degrades from collective disbelief, rather than individuals discovering it, and also that amnesia spells are readily available to mages less incompetent than the railgun psycho and the shut-in), Alice is subsequently confirmed by other Nasuverse material to essentially be an inhuman being for whom warping reality is as natural as breathing trying to LARP as a reserved human. And she's the less destructive of the two. All mages from the Nasuverse are culturally niggers, at best some like Luvia are cordial niggers.
