Based as fuck and makes games accessible.

Black Mesa allowed me to get the HL1 experience without having to play some billion year old game.

Resident Evil 2 remake is amazing

I was just never going to play oblivion because of the shitty graphics but now I can with the remake.

was demons souls the only souls game that gave an actual item on your character that lights them up?

How are there still no mods that make remaster look like PTDE?

The Augite of Souls? Yeah, but I think you still get that lighting effect in other souls games even without it

Depends if Indians make them.
Indians donโ€™t have soul.

Also, who cares about shiny graphics?

Because while you can restore the original textures and shaders, changing the lighting engine isn't trivial.

Yes. Every other game you just inexplicably glow, as if you still had the little thingy you did in DeS. Not sure why they didn't keep that little detail. Maybe it was a pain to make it work with the fashion.

If a remaster or remake keeps the spirit of the original intact, or even has classic mode options so people can still enjoy the game(s) like how it used to be, then hey. But when you get stuff like Crash and Spyro, Demons' Souls and Shadow of the Colossus, where drastic reinterpretations occur that strip out much of the old art and intent, it gets really fucky. You can sell me all the quality of life in the world and I'd still regularly prefer the old versions unless you straight up just 1:1 the old game "as you remembered it" right, like Croc or the Quake remasters.

Your tradition was modern when you experienced it, you build your own tomb
