It is, quite honestly, the least fun RPGM out there. Every mechanic exists just to waste your time or to annoy you. the game has no grinding, your level ups are depending on quests and outside of those there are things that raise stats and give you abilities which consume one or multiple units of time
they also cost money which you also cant really grind which you need to manage. you can work for money but that takes up time and there's always the corruption timer in the background. it creates an interesting dynamic of juggling all these factors. it's a very oldschool approach and not everyone has to enjoy it, but I think it's very cool.

That's the problem. Every single thing wastes time. You go to a new zone and your stats is too low to proceed so you need to spend 30min getting money->upgrading armor/learning skills/doing boring shit. Then you venture out, lose because you lack 2DEF and you can't try again because the game gives you -30% to all stats every 5min due to annoying curse, so you have waste more time getting that off and try again.
