>Hitler's name removed from title
>All instances of his name changed to "Dictator X" in the game
Ok, who forced them to censor it?
How can games be taken seriously as an art form if they're subject to shit like this?
>>714150357 (OP)Sex with Hitler games are allowed on Steam, but they had to censor this?
That's pretty retarded but how have I only learned of this game now? It actually looks pretty cool. I'm interested. Will try it out whenever it releases.
>>714150357 (OP)When will you retards learn Nips are spineless and give in to any little bit of pressure.
No one has ever heard of this game before. It's probably not a publicity stunt, but if it were, it'd be a brilliant one.
>>714154468I remember seeing it posted. Was interested but now I will wait for mods to uncensor it.
>>714154468It is funny that this was announced back in September 2023. Got a Steam page 3 weeks ago, but this thread is the first time I heard of it. For all I know I would have missed out on this potential gem if not for censorship.
>>714154361When I was in Japan hanging out with my Jap friends, they would buy shit they didn't need at all and it was weird shit too like toilet brushes and a mesh fruit bowl. Why? Well turns out the watch the news/variety shows and the big digital man on the screen says this thing or that is really good, provides longevity and they recommend it. Again, fucking toilet brushes and fruit bowls. These shits were selling out in stores too, we had to hit up a few Don Quixote's to find that fruit bowl. Just incredibly gullible people.

I don't know about you guys, but I know who I'm blaming for this.
>>714154779Wolfenstein games are on Switch.
Found more info about this game from ResetEra, of course, they have 10 pages about this.
It was crowdfunded and succeeded. 65k dollars worth of funding, over 400% of its original goal of 14k.
>The game is a mystery adventure centering on the idea of a historical figure having surreptitiously bequeathed a fictitious estate, following the drama that plays out among the characters faced with an enigma extending all the way into their modern world.
>The tale unfolds in an ancient castle in 1981, 36 years after Hitler's death. 18-year-old protagonist Noah is determined not to turn out like his father, but, beyond that, he has no idea of the kind of person he wants to be. Noah takes part in a mysterious auction held at the old castle, and, as someone living in the 1980s, comes to terms with the absurdity of the trauma the war left behind, learning of the truths hidden deep within those affected, ultimately closing in on the big secret his father has been concealing.
>When we learn about history, we think about the present and what it means to be human.
>Thinking about the past also means thinking about the future.
>Throughout the long flow of time, certain individuals are predestined to make historyโa projection of, and projection onto the times in which they lived. Hitler was one such individualโan evil specter at the heart of the tumult of the Second World War.
>What if, behind the scenes, as a final act, he sought to bequeath something to the next generation?
>In the 1980s, in a Germany still haunted by this dark specter, how did the youngsters who found themselves entangled with his estate react? How did their perceptions of the future change? My goal is to portray the human drama at the heart of it all.
It's pretty funny that my fellow lefts were seething about this. I think it's an interesting subject matter and worth exploring. I don't think Rika is gonna pretend Nazis were le based and redpilled lol. Classic case of purity spiraling.
Didn't Persona have to change the name of Hitler because of CERO and not any Western reasons?
>>714155579The only thing I could find about it was that it was of course, CERO, no one else, because apparently "no person with a historical background can appear in fiction" which seems like complete bullshit given how much other shit with historical characters there is out there.
>>714150357 (OP)I want to turn back time and try again.
>>714154610>they would buy shit they didn't need at all and it was weird shit too like toilet brushes and a mesh fruit bowlThis sounds identical to how people behave in my non asian country.

>>714156603At least this guy is based. Surprised he isn't banned yet.
>>714156708Yeah. That's what made the whole thing somewhat interesting. Some random nameless dictator just doesn't remotely hold the same weight. Also, if I would have backed this shit, I would be royally pissed, because the whole thing just feels like normgroid bait. Make money with your kickstarter, censor shit afterwards for even more money. lmao.
>>714154468It's a new game from the author of Hotel Dusk. She seems to be cursed, her games are never popular.
>>714155579>>714155927You can only put Hitler in a Japanese game if you turn him into a cute teenage girl.
