>>714151112It's because Blizzard writers are shit and they've been buckbroken on the O*c question since Warcraft 3.
You can't have an evil race be evil for 2 games and then try to dindu them. It doesn't work. It doesn't matter how many camps you put them in, how many atrocities you commit against them, they're retarded, stinky intergalactic invaders who chimped out and lost. And the problem goes deeper because the inherent evil of the O*c is a cornerstone of the identity of the Horde. That means that Blizzard can never walk it back and have the O*cs be sympathetic.
The result is that the O*cs will always be pathetic. This is true for most of the Horde races because Blizzard doesn't want to commit to making any race bad but at the same time wants to keep their aesthetics. So the O*cs will wake up, go to forest, burn down forest, kill attractive women, wear no shoes, live in hut, and eat dirt but we'll have a speech about the camps and about muh noble savagery and muh Thrall and somehow that is supposed to make them look nuanced when instead it just makes them look like impulsive retards who cry as they lash out. The same goes for the Forsaken especially. They have an entire lore surrounding how undeath basically makes them sociopathic, and more so as time goes on, and they're also targeted and hated. They have full justification for being evil. But Blizzard won't commit so instead it is the same thing, you're supposed to feel sorry for them as they commit warcrimes. The whole thing is inane.
