My PS4 controller from 2016 works perfectly fine, meanwhile my PS5 controller has stick drift on both sticks. Even my fucking PS2 controller from 2003 functions properly and it has seen way more action than the PS5. These greedy jews just want their products breaking down so you happily pay $75 for a replacement like a good goy. Somebody should really take these companies to court and brutally RAPE them in a billion dollar lawsuit.

Fuck sony, I just sent my controller for repair and I'm playing PS5 games with my PS4 controller through remote play. These kikes won't see another dime from me.

I had a dualsense for a couple weeks but it just seemed overdesigned and felt like it would break if I breathed on it, so I returned it.

This thread isn't about controllers. We all know that assymmetrical sticks are superior and thus Xbox > PS. What this thread is truly about is the insane fact that an ugly freak like Steve Tyler actually gave birth to someone whose sweat I would drink like Liv Tyler. How did this even happen?

i have a wired 360 controller from 2007 that works just fine, aside from the rubber on the joysticks being completely disintegrated

I gave away my ps4 to my sister and of course both controllers went for it. I regret it so much, the ps4 controller feels so much better to hold than the ps5 one

all my retro controllers work
all my handhelds work, save for a white ds lite i bought used last year, which has a sticky unresponsive shoulder (i should tear the fucker down again and fix it)
all my original PS2, X360 controllers work

i haven't had any issues with newer controllers, but i will be honest, the new series s/x controllers just don't feel as good as the x360 ones. they're fine, but you can tell the point was to just be fine, and have no real style. original xbox 1 controllers were sub-mid.

The series controllers are much better than the one controllers for sure.

you can get them for cheap now. ps4 is still a very common system, and controllers in good condition can be had used for not much. i think even new are still somewhat reasonably priced

You can but sony doesn't allow you to play PS5 games with PS4 controllers because uhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh haptic feedback and adaptive triggers or something, Meanwhile no games use these features and both controllers share the exact same button layout. It's such a shitty excuse.

I used the controller on my PC, my ps4 was pretty much just a Bloodborne machine that I stopped using after one year

I actually followed some faggots guide to "fix" drifting on PS4, disassembled the whole controller. Didn't fucking do anything, still drifts

Assuming we watched the same video where the guy cleaned some gunk off of the internals, I did the same, it worked for a couple of months then went back to drifting. The state of modern electronics is genuinely unacceptable.

>Even my fucking PS2 controller from 2003 functions properly
I'm still rocking my PS2 controller from 2014.
It's incredible how fucking durable these things are considering mine fell on the floor like
a million times (can even hear bits of it moving inside when shaking) and it still
works great, with L2 button being a mild annoyance since it randomly gets sticky
from time to time, so I gotta rapidly tap it to fix it.

frequent Goodwill, it's a good place to get controllers.
