The dev has finally come back and posted a bunch of stuff on what went down. tl;dr
>Guy gets into a car accident and gets a head injury
>Discovers God and feels repulsive about his own creation (because it's full of lewd stuff)
>Wants to burn it all down
>He didn't want to completely abandon it so he decided he'll just give it a quick ending
>The final ending is supposedly the secret (true) ending and the other 6 endings that he promised were all going to be happy endings

Can we address the most important question: what initially drew you to this game? To me it was all about the unusual relationship born between completely theoretically incompatible beings. Considering Stroj's unfortunate religious revelation you have to question his logic, Is it against God's will to show genuine care and affection, even towards condemned creatures like Ruza that he just completely lobotomizes and turns her into the growling mindless beast in this update? Is it really acceptable in God's eyes to portray a story where the main character murders all the witnesses like a total sperg and then hangs himself in the end? It had some creepy horror vibes, romance with the characters, comedy and choices.

He removed all of the romance, comedy, choices and most of the slice of life events. Wendigo becomes a generic monster who doesn't talk anymore and becomes literally irrelevant to the main plot (even though, again, the game is literally named after her). Most of the plot threads and questions of the main cast and the world get dropped and stay unresolved. Game was also supposed to have 7 endings, 6 happy ones just like he says in the explanation post (one with each character, maybe even a harem ending, I dunno) and one secret ending (which is the only one he implemented). There are also some sidequests which had good outcomes be changed into only having bad outcomes. And then it ends with a it was all a dream ending as a cherry on top.
