Anyone think about gaming all day but just get too tired when the chance finally arrives later that evening?
Not sure if this is just me... I look forward to finishing work so I can get home and game, but when I finally get on my PC I rarely actually play anything. I either watch other people game on YT or Twitch, or end up browsing Reddit etc. It’s as if I like the ‘idea’ of gaming more than actually doing it. When I do play it’s never more than an hour or so. Anyone else?

If you're able to have fun browsing 4chan instead of gaming, there's no reason why you should play games. I've done one or the other my entire life. If you ever get bored of 4chan, you'll have games to play. That's how it works.
Browsing 4chan doesn't let me explore a hospital with my waifu, and that's why I couldn't just use 4chan for the rest of my life.

heres a tip, instead of watching some cunt play games, you just put on music, and play some games.
you're wasting your limited brain power on picking a video, and parasocialising a streamer.
get home, hit play on a non youtube playlist of music, and fire up the game you've been thinking of.

What kind of games are you playing, and do you have any other hobbies?
It could be that you need to find other games, that you need to mix up what you do in your spare time with something besides consuming entertainment and browsing social media, or as simple as you needing to cut out the streams so you can focus on something.
