The big flaws of MTG lately are easily:
1) UB shit invading. And now I get to bitch about them banning everything for the sake of the FF tourists.
2) Hat sets, but those are over now and we're getting Lorwynkino when we're done with more UBshit.

MTG is still the best trading card game available. Arena is fun. Cope and seethe.

Fortniteification and Netflixification of media has killed individuality in the gaming space. I don't mind crossovers but at least make it in line with the aesthetic of the game world you are placing them in. This is the like the Family Guy joke of "Holy Crap Louis, It's [insert character name here]" but then it's not a joke. It's there to be a brand that is recognizable and make money because popular thing exist in game. I also feel TF2 was at fault for this as well with the introduction of hats. It made sense in design for the first few and then it went off the rails after that.
