Why is DOOM series getting such royal treatment with all these new acclaimed games this keeps being ignored? Does id Software hate Quake?

They did make Quake Champions but you faggots didn't want to play it. Also, nu-Doom is a lot like Quake where it counts (need for weapon switching, spongy monsters, arenas that are built a lot like multiplayer maps) so making a new Quake game would've just been redundant.

I put about 300 hours into QC, and the fact is you spend way too much time in menus. People that think it died because they think it's a hero shooter since you have abilities are missing the point. 8 max players per server instead of 16 or more didn't help either. Matchmaking is a plague.
