The only way to save it is to destroy it. They have to reset everything and have everyone start out from 0 again. The game doesn't actually get any new players anymore, only returning players, and all those players are getting older. Leveling a fresh character on a new account without heirlooms and war band bonuses is an absolute nightmare. They also need to try to shed their massive tranny userbase. Those people don't know how to create, they only know how to destroy.
