These cunts told me my laptop couldnโ€™t run Windows 11 when it first came out because it didnโ€™t have a TPM 2.0 (why would a personal device even have one?).
Now theyโ€™re desperate for me to upgrade that same laptop and give me the upgrade prompt every few days or so.

I just have a regular Pro install. Not sure if I'm bothering to somehow make it IoT LTSC etc..
While I did specifically have my gaymen PC be separate from my srsbsns Linux laptop, I'm not sure I would subject it to W11, especially considering all the piracy etc. I get up to. So I might go with Linux when the time comes and just hope it's fine enough by then.

LTSC is a meme system for things that don't need updates, like cash registers, which miss on latest features until 1 or 2 years later, when they release a new update.
I remember LTSC schizos complaining about games not working on 10 LTSC due to lack of DXR or Direct Storage or whatever, back when these were new

10 is barely tolerable once you block all the telemetry and debloat it.

I have a nice computer but you're missing the point retard. You shouldn't need heavy hardware just to run the basic functions of the OS properly. It's not like it does anything more than it used to, but now the hardware requirements have skyrocketed. For what? So it can show me advertisements in the start menu and sometimes pop up advertisements as "notifications"

Why do you need security updates? just monitor your packetflow using wireshark and programs like peerblock during the day, and disconnect your internet at night before going to bed, you should do that anyway. even that is overkill now honestly, browsers are retardproof with all the antivirus shit they come with standard now, kids nowadays would be eaten alive on the 00s internet.

Like 2-5 fps, when I'm expecting to hit the full 120 without sweating, given my hardware. Had to crawl back to Win11. Still not sure what went wrong other than just.. it ran like shit on Linux, which bummed me out.

Third worlders running piracy can't update because their whole system falls apart like a house of cards. Thirdies likely buying used graphic cards from Chinese resellers don't even have real graphic cards, just BIOS flashed ones that crash. Windows 11 cannot run on third worlders PC which haven't been updated (CPU/motherboard) in the last 8 years.

The new one has rounded corners and looks retarded. It also has an AI that monitors everything you do to curate what you see on the internet and to predict what you will do in the future for advertising agencies. If you click on a bocchi thread then suddenly start seeing bocchi the rock stuff on every store around your area, it's because of the AI, even if 4chan doesn't track your data. It also classifies your class and IQ as a being based on your cursor gait and what you do to determine what jobs you can find in the future or whether you'll get a raise or not.

Upgraded to Windows 11. Everything just works. It's basically the same as Windows 10 and everything they changed that I don't like enough to warrant taking action, it's easy enough to just switch it back via changing a setting or a shell script.

I run Linux on my Laptop getting up in the years too; Fedora Silverblue, with Flatpaks. God, I love simplicity. Computing is only good when a multi-billion dollar company is spearheading development.

That's been my experience as well, but I don't use windows as my main OS. I only use it when creating windows builds of software that I ship, and for debugging said software because Windows has just enough quirks compared to *nix related OSs that I can reliably expect there to be some compatibility issues that need fixed.

Anyways everything is fast and snappy, but my workflow is essentially Windows Terminal + Powershell + clang/make installed via chocoloatey, and a text editor. I don't use those big buggy/laggy IDEs, which I imagine is where I would start to encounter problems.

But even if not, things needed to run the browser are loaded into memory when you first launch it, and stay in memory even if you close the browser, which is why programs seem to launch faster after you open them for the first time, until you reboot the computer.

They already treat your computer like it's theirs anyway and do whatever they want on it. Change settings, force updates, add or delete shit at their leisure, whatever.

But you don't care because it's easy and you're a bitch.

Linux is infested by trans rust devs that are pushing out the old and actually talented C devs that made the OS what it is. Just this year they tried to drop 32bit support which would make a lot of games not work. Also a super stable command like sudo was rewritten in rust for no reason.
I'm skeptical about Linux's future. Especially when the company behind the open source makes billions. Something fishy.

Smart phones are not and never will be the future.
PCs still have utility as industry processing power back-ends (which predominantly and increasingly run on linux servers), office work GUIs, in addition to PC gaming which itself is slowly subsuming and eroding the console/handheld/phone gaming market.

At most we will see a merging of the OS into one, which we're already seeing with Harmony OS in China (laptops, phones and computers will soon all use it, will just need steamOS integration for gaming).
In the west, the merger will definitely be some form of linux (android is already linux, steamOS is linux). I don't foresee a future for Windows nor Mac really.

Not even close for anyone without a fake job.
Normalfags make up a small superfluous part of the workforce.
For anything important like heavy industry, big tech (upon whose servers the normalfag services run), finance, etc you need robust data networks and servers, most of which run on linux machines.
Phones don't even have a ethernet port. Anything that doesn't have a dedicated ethernet port cannot be used for real work.

Yeah but I mean have you ever tried doing it all day? I donโ€™t mean an android tablet I mean a phone. Tiny ass screen, probably difficult to mount at eye-level so youโ€™re sitting with far worse posture and killing your back and eyesโ€ฆ.

Just try programming, composing music, drawing, or editing documents all day on a phone. Bloody uncomfortable, unless you somehow got used to it in which case more power to you I guess. But the average smartphone user is probably not hooking up a Bluetooth keyboard and mouse to do all this stuff.

we have to stop virtuasignaling with this "ehrm are you just stupid? lolol" Bad tools are bad tools. Linux is a bad tool for gaming if you're not a normalfag.

I've daily driven NixOS for years because it's been a great software development suite. But I've dual booted windows for all that time because vidya STILL sucks ass on it if you aren't just playing normalfag games on steam.

I have literally hundreds of games downloaded from f95zone but I'll give you a softball which isn't that obscure: Futaring. Go on faggot. Tell me the magical install wizard for it. I'm not a nocoder like the rest of you shills, I actually have experience with manually tardwrangling WINEPREFIXes and experimenting with winetricks verbs. If it's just corefonts it might just be 15 minutes. But then gamescope needs to be involved, I'm setting 6 million environment variables specifically to make my industry standard 4080 not chug along at 30 fps, and at that point I'm spending an hour when it takes literally ~1 minute to do it in window (extract the archive and click the .exe). Windows is the better game OS. If you're just playing minecraft and factorio who gives a shit you could probably run that on windows 7 if you wanted to.

Not even mentioning the fact that you're in a stranglehold grip by steam. I hope for your sake that there's a way to play games you pirate with Proton.

I want to run the game and I want it to work 10/10 times. That's why linux is great for development, you $ vim and shit just works instantly. Windows is like that but for vidya. My understanding is that itโ€™s just Arch with some extra stuff installed. That would be the optimal choice for gaming seeing as how itโ€™s maintained by Valve because they want to keep supporting the Steam Deck and have that be a good experience for the people who own it.

Everything I said was the truth. linux was created by Red Hat Software as an illegal clone of MSDOS, Microsoft's intellectual property with the cooperation of a Russian spy, Linus Torovaldinsky (who named himself after his favorite Peanuts character). It's been used by the new Soviet Union to gather evidence about how much Russian-made child porn has made it into the west. Since all linux users are pedophiles, the program is a resounding success. That's why "muh privacy" is the biggest concern of linux fats, ironically.

You can easily format your laptop to linux, depending on its specs.
Watch this:
Preferably the whole thing but I've timestamped the linux part.
The cpu of those two laptops you've posted are 13th gen Raptor Lake cpus though which constrain you to certain linux distros, you'll have to do your own research.
As long as you stay away for ARM snapdragon elite cpus (which are only windows compatible).

Linux Torvads is not an insane tranny. Linux Torvads will seethe about right wingers, but his own personal moral code won't let him actively act as a black hat because some right wingers are discovering Linux. He might see it as an opportunity to extol the virtues of FOSS to them. Men like Torvalds ran the early tech days, and considered the technology to be above all else.

Trannies on the other hand will absolutely tank the entire Linux desktop environment without a second thought just because a few chuds decided they wanted to have more control in the current era of the ever present digital panopticon. They don't care about the tech, they care about the power and control it gives them, and they want revenge against the imaginary people in their heads like all modern lefitsts. For them the ideology is above all else.

And you'll go,
>"But I don't care about politics. I'm not a right winger."
To which I will tell you that you're a retard, and have no idea how these people operate.
They're more treacherous, crazy, and bloodthirsty than a Qing Dynastic imperial court.
Everything normal today is wrongthink tomorrow.

To be fair to 7troons, if you're behind a firewall, you're filtering malicious incoming connections, and your biggest attack vector will be your web browser. I think there are some secureish browsers that maintain 7 support.

For that degree of poverty: Damn Small Linux, AntiX, Bodhi. Or just buy a cheap small SSD just to load the OS.
