Normies don't even consider Ocarina of Time in the top 5 anymore, going on shit like Glitchwave it's all like Bloodborne and Silent Hill 2 now. Maybe when the millennials ruled the internet this was true, but its top 20 at most now, and even then all the Majora's Mask revisionism usually puts it slightly ahead anyways.

honestly i dont even play fortnite but objectively it is a great game at this point. free to play, tons of content both official and user created, high production values, tons of seasonal events, lots of customization, all kinds of various game modes, will probably be cross-generational, well optimized. as much as it is a zoomer/gen alpha clubhouse it has to be considered for its value, quality, and impact. just because i personally hate it doesn't mean it shouldn't be considered

I cannot stress how much i think Spirited Away is overrated. It's a a fucking Snoozefest of a film, much like Totoro.
If anything, his best works is Monoke, with Nausicaä as a close second.

On the topic of /mu/sic given other boards handle their topics better than the designated boards, is Tupac actually GOAT or is that just the standard shibboleth of good tastes where someone cites something at the best because it's cited as the best.

I've heard a song or two and it just doesn't stand out as anything special. It strikes me as like The Beatles where the success is heavily because of the time they were in rather than the objective quality. Like Michael jackson if he showed up today in a world with no Michael Jackson would be explosively popular even now, hee wasn't so much of a "First to get there"

Struck me more with the remake how much Griffith/Guts resemble Akio and Ryu visually and to a mild extent thematically. Akio or whatever his name is didn't go quite so pale twink in his OG form though.

I caught the 90s anime before the manga and it's markedly better. The manga is so ridiculously edge upon edge I figure a reason he took so much to idolmaster and also just softened somewhat the mood in the latter half (aside of the demon rape wombs for the Kushan emperor's demon soldiers) was because the earlier period is adult attack, pedophile king, the gorilla rape-ape who uses naked women gibs as banners. It's all just so over the top.
