What the fuck did people even play on the Wii other than Wii sports and brawl? The only two games I ever played on it were the Wii port of RE4 despite already owning the GameCube version, and monster hunter tri online. Essentially the Wii was a monster hunter tri machine at my house and it had no other purpose. They may as well put that in the disc drive and glued it shut. Brawl sucked ass and the only reason I enjoyed it for a summer was modding the shit out of the game with my friends and at that point we were playing an entirely different game with like 200 characters.

Zelda, Mario Kart, 3D Mario (both ones), Metroid Prime games, Kirby, nsmb. I mean it's a nintendo console, the first parties are the usual suspects.

They were kind of fun but definitely their own thing and not a replacement for the 360/PS3 versions. I remember having a friend over in middle school to play Nazi Zombies on 360 and he was blown the fuck away because the Wii version of WaW he had just completely removed it kek. I still liked playing it for the aiming and campaign tho

It definitely sucked ass for multi-platform releases and ports but there's some exclusive kino on there. Sin & Punishment, Wii GoldenEye, half the Trauma Center games, No More Heroes (theres ports now but they kind of suck imo), MadWorld just to think of some. Also a surprising amount of RPGs that I still need to get around to on my modded Wii.

I used it to play emulators on a TV with easy multiplayer, every party/sleepover I'd bring my wii with an SD card with the entire nes/snes/genesis/gba romset and a lot of good times were had
