The next Smash game is coming. Which do you hope it plays and handles most like?

I think you can have a decent Smash game without all of Melee's movement mechanics, but for the love of god they need to bring back shield stopping, ground to air momentum, and shield dropping.

Melee is not a good game. Most of the movement techs are shitty bugs you have to abuse to play at any level. Ultimate but remove steve and we're good desu

I hope it's fun like 64/Melee/Brawl and not sterile like 4/Ultimate.

it should be slower like Brawl. As someone with friends, it's very confusing to play Ultimate with them since the movements are too fast

Tone down the EPIC freeze frames when you hit someone, the EPIC killing shot zoom in, the EPIC sound effects, the EPIC orchestral music as the overture, the EPIC universe-ending threat serving as some sort of "plot". Return to a simpler tone like 64 being about kids picking up toys and staging mock fights while making WOOSH and CRUNCH noises.

Literally the only thing wrong with melees movement is the execution barrier. I think they should just have a dedicated "move" button after all there are two jumps, and the every character gets a unique up, down, side and neutral move that refrences something from their games. As it srands now ultimate movement is a little uninteresting.
