Hard mode Monster X was kicking my ass until some gracious anons on here informed me the game mode was tacked on by Nicalis and you're supposed to have fucking 10x the health by that point in the game. Started a new game on normal right after and played it through, but perhaps I'll try my hand in progressing on hard one day

I love reading shit like this because it really puts into perspective how disgustingly awful burgers are at videogames. I beat this game on hard (no health capsules) almost 10 years ago now, and even then it never felt unfair or overly tedious
