SS2 is one of my all time favorite games. I played it when it came out, back when games came in big boxes with awesome box art. I think it cost $20 new. Back then, there wasn't faggot social media to spoil and over analyze everything. I went into it completely blind. I'm glad the remaster is introducing new people to one of the best games of all time and I'm glad you're enjoying it OP.

It's literally the same game, with minor changes to the OS upgrades as the only perceivable gameplay tweak. It's as bare bones a remaster as it gets. Nightdive's part was plopping it on to kex and making some new enemy models, all the other shit was community mods that are now bundled in (though to their credit I'm assuming they asked permission or maybe even compensated the people responsible since there doesn't seem to be massive drama happening over it, and I've seen a couple of the devs of SCP posting religiously on the steam forum for the remaster).
