>>714244061 (OP)Sadly forgotten classic people just donโt respect anymore
>>714244273Bioshock is too easy and Prey is far too boring. I'll take easy over boring any day of the week.
>game has "moral choices"
>murdering girls gives you a short term reward
>saving them gets you more rewards anyway
>>714244061 (OP)The only good thing about this game was Liz.
System shock 2 did it better, and System shock 1 was better than that.
Franchise started on the highest point possible and went downhill consistently.
>>714244394Remaster has an extra difficulty level. And fixed mouse controls
>>714244061 (OP)Was thinking of replaying BSH2 again. Infinite still remains the best of all
People rightfully rag on Infinite's writing, but they overlook how Bioshock 1's twist was copied straight from SS2. Ken should have been called out for copying his own homework, but everyone fellated it. Apparently game journos were already hacks who never play games in 2007.
>>714252068The reason Bioshock was so praised on release was because it was the first FPS millennials played that wasn't Halo/CoDslop. Of course none of them knew what System Shock even was.
>>714244273Really wished the Danielle Sho mission was shorter or less annoying
>>714252068System Shock games are PC games from the 90s, might as well not exist for journos and the gaymers
>>714244902saving them nets you more daughters so you can daughtermax
>>714244194It wasn't that amazing. Things got boring after Andrew Ryan died and you had Atlas and his retarded fucking voice.
>>714244902I agree, there shpuld be consequences for doing the right thing. Otherwise, where's the temptation in being evil?
>>714252068System Shock 2 straight up tells you in the first 10 minutes you are being manipulated with the real polito logs. I don't remember enough about Bioshock to know if it did anything similar.
I'm interested in. That new game host was announced recently, clockwork revolution.
Also am I the only one who liked the bioshock 2 multiplayer?
God I pray the new one supposedly in the works isn't garbage. Please god. I just want Bioshock 1 again.
AHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
KILL YOUR FRIENDS AT THE CIRCUS OF VALLLLLLUUUUEEEEEEEEESSSSS
>>714261076lmao imagine being this naive
I liked BioShock, although after playing through System Shock 2 it's obvious how much Ken Levine just copied over.
It's funny because I always figured Infinite wasn't actually received that well, yet on /v/ it always gets the most attention, followed by the occasional BS1 thread, and then absolutely nothing on BS2.
Is Burial At Sea as bad as everybody says? I like the idea of going back to Rapture but I've heard it retcons a lot of the lore.
Oh hey neato I just finished the book
There's a really fun bit where Frank is the only character to see fault in the idea and immediately predicta that rapture is gonna collapse in on itself
>>714244061 (OP)Wasn't there supposed to be a remake?
>>714244273I legit consider that the worst game i've ever played.
>>714261926it makes Ryan even more cartoonish
>>714265861>I legit consider that the worst game i've ever played. It's okay, stick with your casualises System Shock 2 for consoles.
>>714266246Stay mad, contrarian faggot. Prey fucking sucked and I will never understand why they used the name of an actual good game to try and trick people into buying it. Unless it has nothing to do with real Prey and they just have the same name for some reason.
>>714266430I think they just share the same name. Original (good) pray was made by the people that made the Rune games. Alienhead or whatever they're called.
>>714261076New one?
What would the ideology be that it's making fun of?
>>714266430>Prefers 2006 Prey>Calls anyone a contrarianThe only reason that game isn't forgotten is because you discovered its existence after the superior Prey filtered you. You probably can't even beat SS2 on impossible, lel.
>>714266696>prayESL faggot
>(good)It was one of a dozen Quake clones and the only notable thing about it is the portal gimmick.
>>714267876>Prey filtered youOh it filtered me alright. Got so fucking bored I couldn't go on. The whole time I was thinking
>goddam I would rather just be playing bioshock or system shock, or thief or any of the games made by the person prey tried copying.
>>714268034So you have a fried attention span and seek instant gratification, got it.
>>714268261Whatever you gotta tell yourself. Thankfully the game failed so.
>>714268513System Shock 2 was also a flop, so I don't get what your argument is about.
