Pretty much. Gpu market is fucked. You need to fork out 200-300 for new card that can play dark ages. You can get under 200 if you go used. But ff7 rebirth, dark age and new monster hunter are only three games that have ditched older gpu generations. Monster hunter runs like ass on PC anyways and non of these games look generational leap good.

Depends on consoles. AMD has patent for new ray tracing architecture and they will be doing next Xbox and PS. Sony also forked out money for fsr4. Consoles are probably going hard for AI graphics in next generation.
