I downloaded Primehack but didn't get to play it. So far, I've only played Remastered 1 on Switch. Still need to play 2 and 3 before the new one comes out, but I think it's not going to happen anytime soon.

The first one really isn't that bad.
It's just that it used to be incredibly overrated, where Prime 2 improves on pretty much everything it tried to do and was underrated.

Yes. Prime 2 is the best. Games that treat the player like they've already played the prior game are always superior. Prime was a warm up dish compared to the superb sequel, even if it has flaws due to it being somewhat rushed.
