Didn't they replace the original series in Steam with the Jeet Editions? So if you bought the originals, your copies got silently replaced? I haven't tried to play them in forever.

no they fucked the controls up for all of them, it only really affects gta3 if you're using the dodo/rhino though, unlike gtavc/sa where it affects every helicopter/plane adversely
it can run on any toaster pc, just play it on pc and get silent patch

i played SA remastered and beaten it whole, it wasn't that bad i gotta admit
being able to play with modern controller helps a lot, give it a try
