For a long time now they've been the biggest consumers of VNs on Steam by quite a large margin and if you read the Capcom ransomware leaks from a few years back, you'd see that if you discount Japanese sales, Monster Hunter World actually sold considerably more on the PC than the PS4 solely because of China.
