Kojima literally planned, designed and directed all of it, he was the sole driving force behind all decisions and final word on designs, camera works, level design, gameplay and plot.

It was his idea to buy them and turn them into Capcom Vancouver. What's baffling is that other studios now are doing the same thing, and didn't learn a damn thing from Capcom. Bandai Namco bought some shitty Montreal studio who shat out Unknown 9. Sony bought a bunch of American studios and shat out Concord.
