>>714264058We've been getting spammed with a million threads just seeking out furry porn recently, it feels like they're kind of wasting time just deleting all of those and banning the people who post them when they could have the vast majority of it handle itself by giving it an appropriate place to belong. A surprising number of people don't know about /trash/, and of those that do, many don't want to use it out of principle, or they simply don't want to share a board with eight blacked threads, two kpop parasociality threads and a dozen threads about some of the most mentally ill fetishes possible, plus a bunch of shit that might as well belong on /aco/ /e/ /h/ /d/ or /soc/
It would be so much more organized and one of the biggest reasons more threads don't end up moved to /trash/ is that they don't like to displace the native threads too much. If there's less native demand on /trash/, it can actually be used to keep good discussions that drift off-topic alive. Right now, it can't do that, because you'll bump Furry Niche thread #20408 off the board and piss everyone in there off.
