Yeah I grew up with that and don't prefer to recreate it. When I emulate as long as it doesn't cause problems I like a higher resolution, higher FPS, no scanlines or dithering, etc. I don't understand the obsession with scanlines and think it generally looks worse. But I understand interest in it from an aesthetic standpoint. It just doesn't make for a better game.

Compare that to something from 2001. Looks fucking great in full HD. I would never play it in native internal resolution ever again because technology has moved forward and there is no point to it anymore.
